Beavers

Beavers

Beavers enjoy a wide range of activities from axe throwing and hiking to bouldering and baking. They can earn activity badges and challenge badges along the way and they love to show off the ones that they have got on their uniform. Beavers will go on a camp and stay away overnight, many for the very first time. Our Beavers are encouraged to take an interest in their community, protect the planet and help others. Sometimes they will go to District or even County events and have fun with Beavers from all over West Yorkshire.

Beavers is for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years old.

Beaver meetings take place on evenings during term time and they can enjoy trips and camps that might take place on weekends and other nights throughout the year.

If you would like to apply for your child to start Beavers in Menston, please fill in the form here.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
