About us

About Us

Menston St Johns today comprises two Beaver colonies – 1st and 2nd, two Cub packs – Fairfax and Cromwell, and two Scout Troops – Apollo and Gemini. We hope to open a Squirrel drey and an Explorer unit in the future when our new HQ would give us more space!

Girlguiding in Menston includes a Rainbow unit, a Brownie Pack and a large Guide company.

We are a joint group – with Scouts and Guides in Menston sharing a building and a constitution. We operate our own waiting lists: to join Scouts click here and to join Guides click here. If you would like to volunteer as an adult, click here

Our door is open to people of all ages, professions and backgrounds, and we’re only able to change lives because people like you join our ever-growing team!

Whatever your skillset, we have a role for you, giving as little or as much time as you can, and I promise you’ll get more out than you put in. Lifelong friendships and adventures await!

Ready for a positively life-changing journey? Get in touch for a chat. There are plenty of group roles for you to choose from.

Looking to give something back but not wanting a full time commitment? That’s fine by us. You can volunteer with as much or as little time as you have.
