Adult Volunteers

1. Volunteer as a Leader. If you are thinking of volunteering as a leader please contact the Group Lead Volunteer (glv@menstonscoutsandguides.uk) so you know what’s involved and can discuss posts that are available. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our Adult Leader Team, no experience necessary – just some enthusiasm for fun and adventure!

2. Volunteer as an Occasional Helper. These volunteers are needed as extra help on camps and overnight events and consequently need a DBS check. They can also help out at weekly meetings but only occasionally, (< once per month). Please contact us. If you are willing and able to help more often than this, a leader role is more appropriate.

3. Volunteer as a Supporter. We are particularly looking for a new person to join our committed Board of Trustees. We also need someone to be the Secretary to our Trustee Board, this mainly entails taking minutes of meetings (just once a month) and circulating them in a timely manner.
